Emporio Armani rallied past Trento to open 2-0 lead in the quarterfinal series. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 79-71. 25 personal fouls committed by Dolomiti En. TR helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was international swingman Alessandro Gentile (200-92) who scored 17 points. Croatian swingman Krunoslav Simon (197-85) chipped in 16 points. Four Armani Milano players scored in double figures. International forward Davide Pascolo (201-90) produced 22 points and 5 rebounds and American swingman Dominique Sutton (198-86, college: N.C.Central) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Dolomiti En. TR's coach Maurizio Buscaglia rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
