Semi-Finals Game 4: Dinamo Tbilisi - Batumi 78-75

Dinamo Tbilisi held off Batumi for the third straight win in the series. Dinamo therefore clinched their Superleague Finals appearance. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Batumi won fourth quarter 24-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dinamo Tbilisi players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The winners were led by international center Giorgi Sharabidze (210-90, agency: Mansfield and Associates) who scored that evening 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and American guard Aubrey McAlpine (196, college: Robert Morris) supported him with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. McAlpine is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even 24 points and 6 rebounds by Ukrainian forward Leonid Stefanishin (199-85) did not help to save the game for Batumi. Ukrainian forward Igor Krivtsov (201-86) added 19 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Five Dinamo Tbilisi and four Batumi players scored in double figures.
