Semi-Finals Game 3: Moutahed - Sagesse 78-76

Moutahed eked out a narrow home win over Sagesse to cut the deficit in the semifinal series. It looked good early as Sagesse took a 10-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Al Moutahed took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 2 points. They dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Sagesse's 24. Al Moutahed forced 20 Sagesse turnovers. Sagesse was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for the former international power forward Charles Tabet (205-87, college: S.Alabama) who led the winners and scored 23 points and 7 rebounds. American guard Ramel Curry (191-80, college: CSU Bakersfield) accounted for 23 points for the winning side. American guard Terrell Stoglin (185-91, college: Maryland) came up with 31 points and 6 rebounds and the former international swingman Elie Roustom (197-87) added 9 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Sagesse in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
