Semi-Finals Game 3: Al Riyadi - Homenetmen 98-72
Date: May 14, 2016
Al Riyadi fired past Homenetmen to earn the second straight win in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Al Riyadi. Homenetmen managed to win second period 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Al Riyadi looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for the former international swingman Fadi Khatib (199-79) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points. American center Chris Daniels (212-84, college: Texas A&M-CC) helped adding 17 points. The best for the losing side was American point guard Kevin Galloway (200-88, college: Texas Southern) with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Dewayne Jackson (203-90, college: Morgan St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Four Al Riyadi and five Homenetmen players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
