Finals Game 3: Sokol Lancut - GKS Tychy 86-92

GKS Tychy celebrated 1Liga Bronze medals. They fired past Sokol Lancut to sweep the consolation final series. Strangely Sokol Lancut outrebounded GKS Tychy 44-26 including a 16-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Sokol Lancut was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for Piotr Halas (190-87) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 6 assists. Power forward Tomasz Deja (200-83) accounted for 19 points for the winning side. Four GKS Tychy players scored in double figures. Guard Krzysztof Jakobczyk (183-86, agency: Promotex) came up with 31 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and power forward Rafal Kulikowski (205-85, agency: Promotex) added 9 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Sokol Lancut in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
