Cocodrilos stepped closer to the LPB title. They beat Bucaneros on the road to take 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series. The guests trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 29-17 charge, which allowed them to win the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Bucaneros helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Wendell McKines (198-88, college: N.Mexico St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Tony Mitchell (203-92, college: N.Texas) who added 16 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side the former international guard John Cox (194-81, college: USF, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with 20 points and 4 assists and American swingman Jordan Hamilton (201-90, college: Texas) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Five Cocodrilos and four Bucaneros players scored in double figures.
