Bologna Etern. outgunned Agrigento en route to the opening victory. Agrigento was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Ed Daniel (201-90, college: Murray St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. The former international power forward Valerio Amoroso (204-80, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Bologna Etern. players scored in double figures. Bologna Etern.'s coach Matteo Boniciolli allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
