Bucaneros rallied past Cocodrilos to stay alive in LPB Grand Final series. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-71. Bucaneros made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. American swingman Justin Carter (193-87, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and Bulgarian power forward Dejan Ivanov (205-86, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Bucaneros players scored in double figures. American guard Carl Elliott (193-83, college: G.Washington) responded with 20 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import forward Wendell McKines (198-88, college: N.Mexico St.) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
