Quarter-Finals Round 3: Bayamon - Quebradillas 93-90
Date: May 16, 2016
Bayamon escaped with a narrow victory over Quebradillas to pull ahead in the playoff series. Piratas were trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 27-20 charge of Vaqueros, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for the former international guard Miguel Ali Berdiel (198-83, college: Valparaiso) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Clay Tucker (196-80, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) helped adding 17 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American-Italian guard Kevin Lisch (188-86, college: St.Louis) with 22 points and 6 assists and the former international guard Christian Dalmau (194-77, college: Daytona St. CC) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Piratas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
