Gravelines eked out a narrow home win over Le Mans to force the decisive third game in the series. The hosts trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 24-17 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely Le Mans outrebounded Gravelines-Dunkerque 40-22 including 26 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Andrew Albicy (178-90) who scored 23 points and 5 assists. American Marcus Dove (206-85, college: Oklahoma St.) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. American point guard Tywain McKee (188-86, college: Coppin St.) produced 25 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Beninese power forward Mouphtaou Yarou (204-90, college: Villanova) added 6 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the guests.
