Quarter-Finals Round 2: ASVEL - Chalon 79-71

ASVEL overcame Chalon at home court to sweep the quarterfinal series. Chalon/Saor was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. It was a great shooting night for ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Chalon/Saor was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. International Charles Kahudi (199-86, agency: Beo Basket) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points and 7 rebounds. Australian center David Andersen (213-80) contributed with 9 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket's coach J.D. Jackson allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international forward Ilian Evtimov (201-83, college: N.Carolina St.) replied with 18 points and 4 assists and American point guard John Roberson (180-88, college: Texas Tech) added 15 points in the effort for Chalon/Saor.
