Bayamon knocked down Quebradillas to secure 3-1 lead in the series. Piratas were ahead by 7 points at the halftime before a 32-15 third quarter run of Vaqueros. They made 22-of-28 charity shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The winners were led by Nigerian center Jeleel Akindele (216-83, college: Chicago St., agency: Beo Basket) who scored that evening 17 points and 8 rebounds and the former international guard Miguel Ali Berdiel (198-83, college: Valparaiso) supported him with 8 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Even 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists by American forward Brian Conklin (198-89, college: St.Louis) did not help to save the game for Piratas. The former international Elias Ayuso (190-77, college: USC, agency: Paris Global Sports) added 12 points for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Piratas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
