Finals Game 1: Aris - AEK Athens 67-77

AEK Athens upset Aris on the road in the consolation finals opener. Aris was ahead by 7 points after three quarters before a 27-10 charge of AEK Athens, which allowed them to win the game. They made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. American point guard J'Covan Brown (188-90, college: Texas) nailed 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Bosnian forward Milan Milosevic (203-85, agency: BeoExcell) accounted for 13 points and 9 rebounds. Four AEK Athens players scored in double figures. American forward Okaro White (206-92, college: Florida St.) came up with 15 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and the other American import point guard Dominic Waters (185-86, college: Portland St., agency: Pensack Sports) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively for Aris in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
