Pardubice cruised past Prostejov on the road to take 1-0 lead in the Bronze medals series. The game was mostly controlled by BK Pardubice. Prostejov was better in second period 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Prostejov 38-20 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. BK Pardubice players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Slovakian Dusan Pandula (196-84) nailed 25 points and 5 assists for the winning side and point guard Viktor Pulpan (190-96) accounted for 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. BK Pardubice's coach Tomas Bartosek allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Center Jan Tomanec (205-85) came up with 14 points and 6 rebounds and naturalized Slovakian Roman Marko (194-86) added 8 points and 7 assists respectively for Prostejov in the defeat.
