Quarter-Finals Round 1: Bourg - Le Portel 89-77

Bourg outscored Le Portel for 1-0 lead in the series. It looked good early as Le Portel took a 5-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then JL Bourg had a 36-14 second period charge getting the lead and Le Portel was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 77-89. JL Bourg shot 63.0 percent from the field. It was a great shooting night for JL Bourg especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Sean Marshall (198-85, college: Boston Coll.) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 6 rebounds. Center Zachery Peacock (203-87, college: Georgia Tech) contributed with 16 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four JL Bourg players scored in double figures. JL Bourg's coach Gregor Beugnot allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Swingman Sean Mosley (192-89, college: Maryland) answered with 18 points and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and center Jakim Donaldson (204-83, college: Edinboro) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Le Portel.
