Bauru knocked down Flamengo in Rio de Janeiro to even NBB Finals at 1-1. Flamengo was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 38-31 charge of Paschoalotto/Bauru, which allowed them to win the game. Paschoalotto/Bauru had a 34-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. 29 personal fouls committed by Flamengo helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Naturalized Italian point guard Paulinho Boracini (183-84) scored 17 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Rafael Hettsheimer (206-86) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five Paschoalotto/Bauru players scored in double figures. The former international Marquinhos Vieira (207-84) responded with 26 points and the former international forward Olivinha Rodriguez (203-83) scored 8 points and 10 rebounds. Flamengo's coach Jose Neto rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
