Semi-Finals Game 5: Grissin Bon RE - Scandone AV 82-72

Grissin Bon RE held off Scandone Avellino for 3-2 lead. The game was mostly controlled by Grissin Bon RE. Scandone AV managed to win second period 25-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was the former international Pietro Aradori (194-88) who scored 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. International forward Achille Polonara (203-91) chipped in 8 points and 9 rebounds. American-Liberian point guard Joe Ragland (182-89, college: Wichita St.) produced 23 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) and American forward James Nunnally (201-90, college: UCSB) added 21 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
