Date: May 26, 2016
Le Portel cruised past Bourg to even the series at 1-1. The game was mostly controlled by Le Portel. JL Bourg was better in second period 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Le Portel especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. The best player for the winners was the former international Gary Chathuant (190-83) who scored 20 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Guard Jessie Begarin (191-88, agency: Court Side) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. American center Zachery Peacock (203-87, college: Georgia Tech) produced 23 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman Quincy Taylor (194-82, college: UAB) added 16 points respectively for the guests. JL Bourg's coach tested ten players seeing no chance for a win.
