MZT Skopje repeated as Prva Liga champions. MZT Skopje eked out a narrow road win over Kumanovo to clinch 3-1 victory in the championship series. The guests trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 25-19 charge, which allowed them to win the game. MZT Skopje outrebounded Kumanovo 2009 40-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian swingman Djordje Drenovac (202-92) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and international Damjan Stojanovski (198-87, agency: BeoBasket) who added 18 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four MZT Skopje players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international power forward Bojan Trajkovski (206-88, agency: Mansfield and Associates) responded with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international point guard Aleksandar Kostoski (186-88, agency: BeoBasket) scored 23 points and 4 assists.
