Everything went according to plan when second ranked Brisbane Capitals (5-3) defeated 9th ranked Ipswich Force (1-3) in Booval 101-85 on Friday. Brisbane Capitals forced 21 Ipswich Force turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Ipswich Force was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American point guard Aaron Anderson (178, college: N.Dakota, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Naturalized American forward Dusty Rychart (201-78, college: Minnesota, agency: Priority Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Five Brisbane Capitals players scored in double figures. Brisbane Capitals' coach Geoff Tarrant used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
