Very predictable result in Tullamarine where first ranked Hume City Broncos (11-1) outscored 10th ranked Tigers (2-9) 92-45 on Saturday. Hume City Broncos dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Tigers' 32. Hume City Broncos forced 25 Tigers turnovers and outrebounded them 46-30 including a 21-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Hume City Broncos looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by Tigers' players. The best player for the winners was American forward Colleen Planeta (188-88, college: Point Loma) who scored 27 points. Vivien Saad chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Hume City Broncos' coach felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
