Finals Game 4: AEK Athens - Aris 89-81

Date: May 28, 2016
AEK Athens earned the Bronze medals. They defeated Aris to win the consolation final series 3-1. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Aris won fourth quarter 17-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Aris was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Americans were the main players on the court. The winners were led by swingman Malik Hairston (198-87, college: Oregon) who scored that evening 24 points and 5 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and point guard J'Covan Brown (188-90, college: Texas) supported him with 22 points. Even 16 points and 7 rebounds by forward Okaro White (206-92, college: Florida St.) did not help to save the game for Aris. Point guard Dominic Waters (185-86, college: Portland St., agency: Pensack Sports) added 17 points for lost side. Four Aris players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
