Quarter-Finals Round 3: Bourg - Le Portel 58-77

Le Portel stormed past Bourg to secure their semifinal birth. The game was mostly controlled by Le Portel. JL Bourg managed to win fourth quarter 18-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded JL Bourg 35-24 including 24 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Claude Marquis (204-80) who scored 9 points and 11 rebounds. American center Jakim Donaldson (204-83, college: Edinboro) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Zachery Peacock (203-87, college: Georgia Tech) who recorded 17 points and the other American import swingman Sean Marshall (198-85, college: Boston Coll.) added 8 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
