Semi-Finals Game 1: Provence Basket - Le Portel 83-66

Provence Basket knocked down Le Portel to open 1-0 lead in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Provence Basket. Le Portel was better in second period 26-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Provence Basket forced 19 Le Portel turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Nigerian Derrick Obasohan (203-81, college: Texas Arlington, agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 4 assists. Point guard Xavier Gaillou (192-89) contributed with 10 points and 5 assists for the winners. Five Provence Basket players scored in double figures. American center Jakim Donaldson (204-83, college: Edinboro) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and the former international Gary Chathuant (190-83) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Le Portel. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
