Semi-Finals Game 5: Bayamon - Aguada 80-66

Bayamon fired past Aguada to even the series at 2-2. The game was mostly controlled by Vaqueros. Santeros managed to win second period 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Vaqueros dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Santeros' 24. Vaqueros forced 19 Santeros turnovers. 29 personal fouls committed by Santeros helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Nigerian center Jeleel Akindele (216-83, college: Chicago St., agency: BeoBasket) stepped up and scored 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and guard Jorge Sanabria (185-93) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. International forward Gilberto Clavell (200-89, college: Sam Houston St., agency: Inception Sports) responded with 16 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Alex Abreu (180-91, college: W.Georgia) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Santeros' coach rotated fourteen players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
