Semi-Finals Game 1: Real Madrid - Valencia 82-57

Date: June 2, 2016
Real Madrid breezed past Valencia for 1-0 lead in the semis. It looked good early as Valencia Basket took a 5-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Real Madrid had a 17-7 second period charge getting the lead and Valencia Basket was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 57-82. Real Madrid dominated on the defensive end, holding Valencia Basket to just 7 points in second quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of international Sergio Llull (190-87) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 4 assists. American-Azerbaijani guard Jaycee Carroll (188-83, agency: Priority Sports) contributed with 15 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Montenegrin Bojan Dubljevic (205-91, agency: BeoBasket) answered with 13 points and 5 rebounds and American-Croatian center Justin Hamilton (213-90, college: LSU, agency: Priority Sports) added 8 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Valencia Basket. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
