Finals Game 2: Strasbourg - ASVEL 73-61

Date: June 6, 2016
Strasbourg registered the second straight victory in ProA Finals. They coasted past ASVEL for 2-0 lead in the title series. The game was mostly controlled by Strasbourg IG. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket managed to win fourth quarter 20-7. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Strasbourg IG forced 20 ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Rodrigue Beaubois (185-88, agency: Comsport) who scored 20 points. International forward Jeremy Leloup (202-87, agency: Comsport) chipped in 12 points. American center Darryl Watkins (211-84, college: Syracuse, agency: Inception Sports) produced 11 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman David Lighty (195-88, college: Ohio St.) added 10 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
