Hapoel Jerusalem overcame Hapoel Eilat to seal their championship game birth. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 26-21. But Hapoel Eilat won second period 20-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Hapoel Jerusalem won last quarter 19-16. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. International forward Lior Eliyahu (205-85) nailed a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and American-Venezuelan Donta Smith (201-83, college: SE Illinois JC) accounted for 10 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Nigerian power forward Alade Aminu (210-87, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Three Eye Sports) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard DeAndre Kane (193-89, college: Iowa St., agency: BeoBasket) added 22 points and 13 rebounds respectively for Hapoel Eilat in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
