San Lorenzo outgunned Bahia Basket to seal their LigaA Finals appearance. The hosts were ahead by 2 points but lost the second period ending it with a 7-point deficit before their 22-13 run, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Marcos Mata (201-86) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Ghanian-British forward Matthew Bryan-Amaning (205-88, college: Washington) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American center Anthony Laveal Johnson (203-88, college: Fairfield) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 17 rebounds and point guard Gaston Whelan (188-94) added 13 points in the effort for Bahia Basket. Bahia Basket's coach Sebastian Ginobili rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
