Semi-Finals Game 1: Cimarrones - Bucaros 90-88

Cimarrones nipped Bucaros to surge ahead in the semifinal series. Cimarrones outrebounded Bucaros 36-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists. The former international swingman Eleutherio Renteria (194-81) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Tyquane Goard (201-93, college: Marshall) chipped in 21 points. Four Cimarrones players scored in double figures. American Tayron Thomas (191-84, college: Philadelphia) produced 18 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and international swingman Michael Jackson (197-87) added 24 points respectively for lost side. Bucaros' coach Bernardo Gonzalez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
