Finals Game 3: Bayamon - Arecibo 92-85

Date: June 9, 2016
Bayamon fired past Arecibo to surge ahead in the BSN Finals. The game without a history. Vaqueros led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 34 personal fouls committed by Capitanes helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for the former international guard Jesse Pellot-Rosa (193-84, college: VCU, agency: Paris Global Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 8 rebounds. The former international center Peter Ramos (222-85) helped adding 16 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was the former international swingman David Huertas (195-87, college: Mississippi) with 21 points and American forward Davon Jefferson (204-86, college: USC) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. Five Vaqueros and four Capitanes players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
