Finals Game 3: ASVEL - Strasbourg 90-69

ASVEL cruised past Strasbourg to cut the deficit in the championship series. The game without a history. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. The best player for the winners was American swingman David Lighty (195-88, college: Ohio St.) who scored 20 points and 4 assists. His fellow American import point guard Casper Ware (178-90, college: Long Beach St.) chipped in 19 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Mardy Collins (198-84, college: Temple) who recorded 13 points and 5 rebounds and the former international point guard Rodrigue Beaubois (185-88, agency: Comsport) added 14 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
