La Union claimed LigaA Finals appearance. They shocked Olimpico LB on the road in the decisive fifth game of the semifinal series to set up the clash versus San Lorenzo for the title. The game was mostly controlled by La Union. Olimpico de La Banda managed to win fourth quarter 29-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Olimpico de La Banda to just 7 points in second quarter. The best player for the winners was American swingman Winsome Frazier (193-82, college: Mississippi St., agency: Interperformances) who scored 24 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Facundo Pinero (200-88) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists.
