Finals Game 5: EA7 Armani - Grissin Bon RE 97-73

Emporio Armani regained the lead in Serie A Finals. They cruised past Grissin Bon RE in Milan to take 3-2 lead in the title series. The game was mostly controlled by Armani Milano. Grissin Bon RE managed to win third quarter 29-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Armani Milano dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Grissin Bon RE's 32. They outrebounded Grissin Bon RE 38-27 including a 30-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Lithuanian point guard Mantas Kalnietis (195-86, agency: Players Group) who scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Croatian swingman Krunoslav Simon (197-85) chipped in 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. International forward Achille Polonara (203-91) produced 10 points and 9 rebounds and Lithuanian center Darjus Lavrinovic (212-79) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
