Finals Game 5: Strasbourg - ASVEL 77-80

ASVEL celebrated the ProA title. They posted the third straight victory over Strasbourg in the championship series and conquered the trophy. It marked the first ProA title for ASVEL since 2009. Strasbourg IG trailed by 19 points after 3 quarters before a 29-13 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 77-80 at the end of the game. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American point guard Casper Ware (178-90, college: Long Beach St.) who scored 27 points. International Charles Kahudi (199-86, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Four ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Rodrigue Beaubois (185-88, agency: Comsport) produced 23 points and American guard Mardy Collins (198-84, college: Temple) added 21 points and 5 assists respectively for the hosts. Strasbourg IG's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
