Tijuana eked out a narrow road win over Hermosillo to even the series at 1-1. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 95-94. American players dominated the game. Swingman Dwayne Mitchell (196-82, college: La-Lafayette) saved the victory by scoring 29 points and 4 assists. Forward Mychal Ammons (198-92, college: S.Alabama) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Michael Craig (196-91, college: S.Mississippi) replied with 26 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals and forward Emmanuel Little (196-85, college: N.Dakota) added 23 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Rayos de Hermosillo. Four Tijuana Zonkeys and five Rayos de Hermosillo players scored in double figures. Rayos de Hermosillo's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
