Nicaragua eked out a 19:17 lead at the first break. Panama surged ahead in the second frame taking a 36:35 halftime lead. The hosts stepped on the gas in the second half. They unleashed 63 points after the big break and marched to the victory. Edward Jones netted 15 points in the win. Thomas Vansdell responded with 20 points for Nicaragua.
