An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in La Vega. Top-ranked Metros STGO faced 4th ranked Reales LV. Guests from Santiago (5-0) defeated host Reales LV (3-3) 110-102. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Reales LV. Reales LV trailed by 11 points at halftime and as many as 17 after three quarters before a 30-21 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 102-110 at the end of the game. Metros STGO shot 61.4 percent from the field. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Metros STGO made 7 blocks. Victor Liz (188-86) scored 36 points (!!!) to lead the charge for the winners and American Robert Glenn (203-89, college: IUPUI) chipped in 26 points and 7 rebounds during the contest.
