US Virgin Islands accumulated a 19:14 lead ten minutes into the game. Puerto Rico turned things around in the second quarter. They eked out a 35:31 halftime lead. Puerto Rico sank 50 points in the second half and marched to the victory. Jhivan Jackson tossed in 15 points and grabbed 8 rebounds for the winners. Malcolm Farrington responded with 17 points for US Virgin Islands.
