The game in La Vega supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Soles SD (6-5) played at the court of 6th ranked Reales LV (4-7). Soles SD smashed Reales LV 104-81 on Sunday. The game without a history. Soles SD led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Reales LV's 50. Soles SD looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Soles SD made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Juan Miguel Suero (196-93) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and Puerto Rican swingman Alejandro Carmona (194-83) who added 26 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Five Soles SD players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American power forward Ivan Johnson (203-84, college: CS San Bernar., agency: Haylett Sports) with 15 points and 6 rebounds and guard Juan Coronado (193-83) scored 13 points and 6 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Soles SD maintains fourth position with 6-5 record. Reales LV lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Huracanes PP and Caneros LR. Soles SD will meet at home league's leader Metros STGO in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Reales LV will play against the league's second-placed Leones SD (#2) and hope to secure a win.
