There was no surprise in Santo Domingo where 8th ranked Indios SFM (2-10) was defeated by second ranked Leones SD (8-4) 79-61 on Tuesday. The game without a history. Leones SD led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Leones SD made 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Brian Conklin (198-89, college: St.Louis) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 9 rebounds and guard Elpidio Fortuna (188-85) who added 11 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Leandro Cabrera with 11 points and 7 rebounds and American swingman Omar Reed (200-87, college: Bluefield, agency: Haylett Sports) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds.
