Leader Metros STGO delivered the thirteenth victory on Tuesday night. This time they crushed 7th ranked Reales LV (4-11) 110-90 in Santiago. The game was mostly controlled by Metros STGO. Reales LV managed to win second period 29-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for point guard Adris De Leon (180-84, college: E.Washington) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 5 rebounds. Victor Liz (188-86) helped adding 18 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American power forward Ivan Johnson (203-84, college: CS San Bernar., agency: Haylett Sports) with 19 points and 8 rebounds and guard Gelvis Solano (185-94, college: Merrimack) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Four Reales LV players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Defending champion maintains first place with 13-2 record. Reales LV lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 11 games lost. Metros STGO will again meet Reales LV (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Reales LV will have a break next round.
