Bottom-ranked Indios SFM managed to get a fifth victory. This time they won against sixth-ranked Huracanes PP in Puerto Plata 73-59. The game was mostly controlled by Indios SFM. Huracanes PP was better in second period 16-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 25 personal fouls committed by Huracanes PP helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Naturalized Spanish center Jhonatan Araujo (208-96) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds. Guard Chris Perez (190-90, college: Canisius) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Four Indios SFM players scored in double figures. Naturalized American forward Emmy Andujar (198-93, college: Manhattan) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and naturalized Spanish power forward Alexis Montas (202-79) added 8 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Huracanes PP. Huracanes PP's coach tested twelve players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Indios SFM maintains eighth position with 5-15 record. Huracanes PP lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 12 games lost.
