Semi-Finals Game 1: Henan - Anhui 111-103

Henan recorded the first semifinal appearance. They rallied past Anhui in the opener. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Henan shot 26 for 35 from the free-throw line, while Anhui only scored seven points from the stripe. Henan forced 24 Anhui turnovers. Anhui was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of FYR Macedonian-American point guard Darius Washington (188-85, college: Memphis) who helped to win the game recording 43 points (!!!) and 4 steals. American power forward Eric Buckner (208-90, college: Georgia St., agency: David Lee Services) contributed with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. American forward Chris Singleton (206-89, college: Florida St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 16 rebounds and 4 blocks and the other American import swingman Manny Harris (196-89, college: Michigan) added 28 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Anhui. Five Anhui players scored in double figures.
