Second Stage Round 2: Metros STGO - Reales LV 109-98

An interesting game for Metros STGO (4-0) which hosted in Santiago Reales LV (2-2). Metros STGO managed to get a 11-point victory 109-98. The game was mostly controlled by Metros STGO. Reales LV was better in third quarter 30-27. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Metros STGO players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American Robert Glenn (203-89, college: IUPUI) who scored 31 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists (on 14-of-16 shooting from the field). Point guard Adris De Leon (180-84, college: E.Washington) chipped in 17 points and 6 assists. Five Metros STGO players scored in double figures. Guard Gelvis Solano (185-94, college: Merrimack, agency: Basket Management Solutions) produced 26 points and American power forward Ivan Johnson (203-84, college: CS San Bernar., agency: Haylett Sports) added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Metros STGO's next round opponent will be again Reales LV (#3) in La Vega, which may be the game of the day. Reales LV will play on the road against Huracanes PP in Puerto Plata and hope to win that game.
