The game in Puerto Plata supposed to be also quite interesting. Metros STGO (4-0) played at the court of Huracanes PP (0-4). Metros STGO did not have too big problems ending evening with a very confident victory 110-93 on Thursday. The game without a history. Metros STGO led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Victor Liz (188-86, agency: Basket Management Solutions) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points and 4 assists. American Robert Glenn (203-89, college: IUPUI) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Point guard Jaison Valdez (188-95, agency: Basket Management Solutions) replied with 26 points and American-Guyanese Rawle Marshall (201-82, college: Oakland) added 15 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Huracanes PP. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Metros STGO will face Reales LV (#3) in La Vega in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Huracanes PP will play at home against Reales LV and hope to win that game.
