Regular Season Round 8: Indias - Lady Cardinals 79-52

Bottom-ranked Lady Cardinals (0-7) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their seventh consecutive match to fourth ranked Indias (4-2) 79-52 on Saturday evening. The game without a history. Indias led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 22 Lady Cardinals turnovers. Indias looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Ashley Prim (170-91, college: St.Joseph's, agency: Gamble Sports Management) who scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. American forward Amanda Thompson (178-87, college: Oklahoma) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds. Prim is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Indias' coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Maria Blazejewski (185-91, college: L.Superior) produced 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and her fellow American import center Teanna Robinson (196-92, college: Mercer) added 12 points and 15 rebounds respectively for the guests. Indias moved-up to third place, which they share with Atenienses. Newly promoted Lady Cardinals still closes the standings with seven games lost. Indias will meet at home Atenienses (#4) in the next round. Lady Cardinals will have a break next round.
