Metros regained the lead in the LNB championship series. They edged Leones at home court to take 3-2 lead in Finals. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 100-89. The best player for the winners was Victor Liz (188-86, agency: Basket Management Solutions) who scored 22 points. Point guard Adris De Leon (180-84, college: E.Washington) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists. Naturalized American M.J. Rhett (206-92, college: Mississippi) produced 22 points and 5 rebounds and guard Elpidio Fortuna (188-85) added 22 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
