Jordan outgunned Japan to stay in the title race at the FIBA Asia Challenge. Dar Tucker carried Jordan to the victory with 33 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Japan jumped to a 26:22 lead after ten minutes. Jordan erased the deficit to take a 45:41 halftime lead. Jordan extended the margin at 7-point mark at the final intermission. The teams traded baskets throughout the fourth term as Jordan marched to the win. Mousa Alawadi delivered 23 points in the victory. Ira Brown and Makoto Hiejima tossed in 17 points each for Japan.
