Ukrainian Avangard (0-3) was outscored at home by Latvian TTT Riga (3-0) with the biggest margin this round 100-60 on Sunday night. The game without a history. TTT Riga led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Avangard to just 6 points in second quarter. TTT Riga shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 66.7 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Avangard's players. The best player for the winners was guard Anda Eibele (170-84) who scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Gunta Basko-Melnbarde (181-80, college: Siena, agency: Josep and Nicolas) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Four TTT Riga players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Ievgeniia Spitkovska (175-88, agency: LBM Management) who recorded 23 points and 5 assists and guard Xeniya Afanasyeva (173-93) added 6 points and 5 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
